Living and working in Puerto Rico

Hi all

I am living in the UK but I am french born (originally from Guadeloupe).
As an European it is difficult to live/work in Puerto Rico, as per the US regulation
I would need a greencard.

Does anyone have some tips for Europeans?
Unfortunately, my spanish is very basic but planning to take spanish lessons.

I have been in Puerto Rico twice and would love to settle down over there.
I work as a HR advisor for a press company in the UK.
Maybe american companies that are based in Puerto Rico would be best to contact and see if they can sponsor me??? Might be tricky again
Not sure how to go about this.

If you have any advices let me know.
