Ex-pat life in Pune?

My husband and I will be visiting Pune in July for 10 days. We are considering a move to Pune, from California, for a 2 year job posting. Although seasoned travelers we have never been to India. Anything we should check out, or look for, on our visit next month? Thanks for whatever suggestions you may have.
