Photo Exhibition at Grubshup (Pune)
Until September 20, Grubshup (our casual dining restaurant on Law College Road) is showing a Photo Exhibition - Meditations on the Mundane by Shishir Nikam. These photos show the beauty in everyday objects and events. Some of the pictures focus on Buddhist monks and monasteries.
Grubshup is built very strongly on sustainability principles. We consider it our duty to support everything good in the society. Encouraging artists goes with that and hence we don't charge any rent or commission, all original art is priced much lower than at galleries and all proceeds go directly to the artists. At prices ranging Rs. Protected content Protected content original framed art, these fabulous pieces of artwork fly off fast. Almost 25% of the current show is already sold (this is just the second day!). And we are proud that all proceeds go to the artist, thereby giving communal support to arts.
Whether you're interested in buying art or not, just drop by. I am usually there between Protected content (in and out). If you call me beforehand ( Protected content ), would love to meet folks from Internations.
