BellaVista EcoVillage (Quito)

I'm thinking of a 2 day visit here to experience the Cloud Forest,
the birds and the foliage plus an auto tour via Otavalo and the lakes etc.
Do any of you have knowledge of this place or recommend an alternative?
OR any suggestions on where to stop? I have a driver for the entire day from BellaVista back to Quito.
