Having a cheese crisis here in Quito. Does anybody know where I can find, for example, proper "old/sharp cheddar" cheese? El Español used to import a decent one from Wisconsin, but that is a thing of the past.

Also looking for a good parmesan.

I'm not happy with national brands or foreign brands that produce cheese nationally. The flavour always seems "off".

Does anybody else find this to be a problem or know where I could find a variety of good imported cheeses?
