Goodbye for now (Quito)

...but not forever. After living in Ecuador for 1 1/2 years, we've had enough fun for a while. We saw quite a bit in and around Quito, Cuenca, Canoa, Ibarra, Otovalo, Coca, Ambato, and Jama but not nearly enough of the rest of Latin America. Improved my spanish a great deal of course, met quite a few friends and enjoyed nearly every day of the Quito cool weather. I was given two addition work positions to the original 1 I accepted and got attacked/robbed in a taxi last year, but nothing permanent happened. Anyhoo, I accepted a better job offer in Houston, Texas with more money, less work, most importantly more vacation than 14 absolute days a year, and less headaches/bureaucracy.

Will be returning to EC for visits and vacations and will of course continue with InterNations. This is a great group.
