Receiving Mail (Quito)

So, I have never tried to receive mail here in Quito from the US, however, I now some rather important documents that I need sent to me from the States. How do you guys receive mail? What is the most reliable way for people from the US to send documents, etc here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
