We are organizing a creative workshop in Rabat on May 22. Protected content , Dare Make: Collective re-art for environmental impact.
The event is dedicated to creating an installation made of reused materials to emphasize the importance of recycling for a sustainable future. Re-art comes from recycling and art, a concept of turning used materials into art objects.
During the event, you will learn about ways of repurposing used materials for a more environmentally-friendly lifestyle. You will practice making art objects of recycled materials collected around the city. You will take part in assembling art objects into a collective installation to make an impact on a local community of Rabat.
Guest speakers: Luigi Barraza, a Mexican architect and artist, and Marina Bulavsky, a Russian environmentalist.
This event is open to everyone and will be particularly interesting for designers, architects, makers and DIYs, and environmentalists.
Tickets: 25 Dhs (This includes all materials. Participants are welcomed to bring used wood and cardboard for the workshop).
