Moving to RAK (Ras Al-Khaimah)

Hi Everyone,

I am moving to RAK on 1st of February. Had couple of visits to RAK in the recent months and would like to check if what I observed is right...

As far as I see Al Hamra Village and Al Hamra Marina are the expat friendly neighborhoods to live. Any other suggestions which are close to beach and comfy ?

I see that there is not much of a nightlife in RAK. Or did I missed something ?

How are the procedures/regulations about pets. Can I adopt an abandoned pet in RAK (a cat) ?
