Moving to Reykjavik! (Reykjavík)

Hey lovely people of Internations!
My boyfriend and myself are taking the plunge and moving in together, our destination: Iceland! I am getting excited, but honestly as I don't know much about the country I would like to get some opinions, for example on places to live, good areas etc.
Any advice much appreciated!
