TEDxReykjavik 2016 (Reykjavík)

TEDxReykjavík will be held for the sixth time on May 28th Protected content Austurbær. At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to be inspired by new ideas from a diverse lineup of speakers who represent some of the most interesting thinkers, artists and entrepreneurs in Iceland. Each will deliver a short but engaging talk on an idea which he or she is passionate about, covering many different topics, including environmental sustainability, technological innovation and personally transformative stories.

The theme this year is: “Local ideas on a global scale”. Together we will explore ideas cultivated in Iceland to map out their potential impact on the world at large. What can we learn from our immediate environment and how could it benefit other communities in the world?

TEDxReykjavík attendees will experience an intimate atmosphere, where TED-talks, performance artists and live speakers come together to spark deep discussion and connection within a small group.
