4 days in Rio! (Rio de Janeiro)

Hi everyone!

First of all, I'm really sorry if this question has been asked before - I tried to use the search function but it didn't work.

I'm coming to Rio next week and with 2 travelling days, I only have 4 (complete) days there. I've lived in Chile and Argentina and travelled a lot around in South America but never to Brazil.

So, I basically want to ask you for some inside information, what would be a good itinerary for 4 complete days? What are some restaurants that I should go to? Any great stores? What should I bring back?

I could and have already checked tripadvisor and googled but it'd like to get some suggestions from expats livings in Rio. Anything would be much appreciated!
