All That Jazz! (Rio de Janeiro)

Hi, everyone!

After 1 year of success, the jazz nights at the beautiful old mansion, Casa MangoMango, in Santa Teresa are back! This time, however, it will be once a month always being held on the second Thursday of each month.

The project 'JAZZ IN MANGOMANGO' will have the best and renowned musical attractions in the city and will start on Thursday the 8th of August at 21h with the super talented Honduran-Brazilian singer, INDIANA NOMMA. Internationally known, Indiana has performed with artists such as Daniela Mercury, Milton Nascimento, Beat Kaestli (NY), and opened shows for Gloria Gaynor and Billie Paul, amongst others. Nomma brings back standards and jazzy reinterpretations of worldwide hits always pleasing the audience in the show LOVE IN FOUR ACTS. This show will also include a jam session from some of the best in the city!

The Trio who will accompany Indiana is CARIOCA LOUNGE:

pianist, accordionist, composer and arranger Adaury Jr., who has played alongside artists such as Luiz Brazil, Selma Reis, Batacotô, amongst others;

bass player Berval Moraes who has accompanied the singers Michelle Leal, Karla Sabah and Laura Rizzotto and

drummer Rafael Maia who has worked alongside Amelia, João Donato, Carlos Lyra, Roberto Menescal, among others.

The show starts at 21:30, the house opens at 20h
