Beauty Salons - Ipanema & Leblon (Rio de Janeiro)

Anyone know of any good but reasonably priced beauty salons in Ipanema or Leblon?
I have been using Werner but they are expensive and I haven't been that happy with the results. Example; haircut and highlights R$553, eyebrow threading R$80. There manicure and pedicure prices are reasonable compared to home but not to here; R$52. Threading costs just $15 in Canada and £5 in UK so I am finding the costs surprising.

I am willing to go further afield if anyone has suggestions of salons with English speaking staff.
