Looking for some pointers (Rio de Janeiro)

Hello all

Have just reached Rio about a month back along with my wife. So am looking for some pointers here

1) Currently am staying temporary accomodation provided by my company in Ipanema. Soon we'll be looking for a a more permanent accomodation for us. what would be rent for a good 2BHK (roughly Protected content unfurnished or furnished in area close to praca osorio in ipanema.

2) Is there a english speaking unisex saloon in proximity of praca osorio?

3) Also does anyone know if there some area i could do shopping to get some indian spices/pulses (like pigeon peas etc).

Only these for a while. Will trouble you guys later with other doubts :)
