Visiting Rio..from The UK, need help and advice (Rio de Janeiro)

I'm in Brazil visiting from England. Hi 'm in Rio De Janeiro visiting for a few weeks. I''m staying my sons apartment in Copacobana beach area. I desperate need advice a really good Salao de Belleza. If anyone can recommend someplace in the area of Copacobana, Ipanema or LeBlon, I would greatly appreciate it. My son ..obviously...cannot advise in the area. :-)
Also if anyone is available to meet up, for coffee and advise me on where to go shopping for gifts, quality clothes, etc, I'd reallyappreciate that too
