Bedayah2013 Exhibition (Riyadh)

What: Bedayah Exhibition is an exhibition held as a project for the course “Space and Exhibition Design” in the
Graphic Design Department in the College of Architecture and Digital Design at Dar Aluloom University in
Riyadh.
The project is given to the students enrolled in this course, where students are divided into three groups and
each group works on their own exhibition. The work on these exhibitions includes space planning and designing
as well as event organizing. Each group elects a team leader that acts as a project manager delegating tasks to
all the members of the team and following up with the progress of the project. This project will be solely accomplished
by the students, to encourage practical real life work while still in school, with the guidance and supervision
of the instructor of the course and administration of the college and university.
Each group will be creating a separate exhibition for one of the three departments in the College of Architecture
and Digital Design at Dar AlUloom University to display students’ work in these departments.
The main objective of having this event as a public event is to raise awareness in the community of the importance
of visual communication and design. Speakers invited to speak at this event discuss different topics that
address these aspects and how vital it is to the community to increase Saudi culturally influenced visual designs
and motivate our young Saudi talents.
