Canadian degree attestation (Riyadh)

Hi all,

I am a Canadian working in Riyadh. I moved here ~2 weeks ago. I just received my Iqama and now I want to apply for my spouse’s visa. It appears that my company’s admin department wants me to have my Canadian Degree attested by Saudi Embassy (in Canada). Since this was not a requirement to obtain the visa so I haven’t done this yet

This process will be both, time consuming and costly as I will have to send my documents back to Canada.

Is there a way to get around this “attestation?” If not, can a fellow Canadian here recommend a company that can assist me with this?
