chess and books (Riyadh)

Two things i am failing to find here:
1) A local (Riyadh) chess club of any type
2) People interested in swapping second-hand books. I go through Protected content week, and have just about exhausted Jarir and the other local english-language bookshops.

Now it's on to amazon, but i find it sad that many kilograms of nice literature might end up being left here...

Any Ideas?
