Filing Taxes: Foreign Earned Income Exclusion (Riyadh)

Hello,

This question is for the Americans who live and work here in KSA. Has anyone here filed taxes using the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion? How exactly does it work? If you make less than the limit (around $100,000), does that mean that you don't have to pay any taxes on that income? I know that it is still our responsibility to file, but I would like to know if the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion waives your obligation to pay taxes on that income if it is below the limit. I would appreciate hearing your experiences on this issue. Thanks in advance.
