Iqama (Riyadh)

At last we have received my husband's iqama...well - it has been sent by email, he now has to fly to London, visit the Saudi embassy there, then enter KSA via the UK. We get to flow once he has done the necessary paperwork for me and our children.

So...is this the usual way it is done, and if so, how long does it take to complete this paperwork?

I am trying to figure out what to tell the schools here and there, and when to book the relocation company and feeling very confused!
