Moving to riyadh (Riyadh)

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I will appreciate you can help me with some questions I have.
I've been offer a job in riyadh and probably moving in march from USA
Which are the best compounds to stay? Is the American international school a good school? Is it safe for the kids to go to school in the bus provided by the compound or is safer to hire a driver and my wife can take them?, there is anything else I should know besides the restriction for women.
