No Saudis Allowed? (Riyadh)

Hi everyone....

What are the reasons why some events held in a particular compound, people from Saudi are not allowed to join or participates? I feel bad about this. (I'm thinking if this restrictions applied also to our own home country ) In the first place Saudi Arabia is our host country. So people from here I guess atleast received a gratitude by attending any event they want to attend to ( just saying). Can anyone care to enlighten me.
