Greetings from Pink Ribbon Pakistan..!!!

Pakistan has the highest rate of Breast Cancer in whole of Asia.1 out of 9 women in Pakistan are at the risk of Breast Cancer. Prevalence of Breast Cancer is the highest amongst all the cancers in Pakistan i.e. 38.5%. Every year 40,000 women are killed with Breast Cancer in Pakistan.
Fortunately, Breast Cancer can be detected and cured at a very early stage. Therefore, it is important to focus on prevention rather than cure since breast cancer if diagnosed early; the survival rate increases to more than 90%
Currently, Pink Ribbon Campaign is spreading awareness through information and material nationwide. It also sensitizes girls and women by arranging various events and activities that create a direct interaction. PRC organizes medical camps for advice, clinical checkup and screening.

Our major on-going programs are:
National Breast Screening Program: Pink Ribbon Campaign is running a Free National Breast Screening Program in 12 cities in collaboration with 14 Partner Hospitals. The objective of the program is to serve the needy women and provide them free services of medical check-up, Ultra Sound, Mammography and also, further assistance if required.
Mobile Mammography Service: Pink Ribbon Campaign in collaboration with INMOL Cancer Hospital has also the credit of running first-ever Mobile Mammography Bus to reach-out to the poorest of the poor women at their doorstep. The service facilitates both the rural and urban areas and has a complete medical facility with assistance.
Youth Awareness Program: The recent trends have shown that the breast cancer incidence is alarmingly increasing in young girls in Pakistan. Therefore, Pink Ribbon Campaign supported by Higher Education Commission (HEC), has launched a Youth Program. The target is to reach out to 500,000 youth through Protected content and Universities. The program has already been rolled out with reaching out to 85,000 households through 25 colleges/ universities in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore. We have planned our next activations in Peshawar, Quetta and Karachi, and their adjoining cities.
This year alone Pink Ribbon Campaign has been able to reach out successfully to

 Over 1,000,000 women, empowering them with knowledge and techniques to detect breast cancer at early stage
 Provided free clinical examination to 25,000 women through expert doctors
 Provided Free Mammogram Screening to over 3,500 women

We are initiating a fundraising campaign through our volunteers as per following process.

• Interested volunteers will be given donation books that he/she will further disseminate to other people of communities.
• Pink Ribbon will provide posters to the volunteer to display if any of the volunteer conducts donation activity in his/her the university.
• Each donation slip book contains 50 leafs (Rs. 20 for each leaf and Rs. Protected content complete Donation Book)
• Volunteer who will raise donations equivalent to Rs. Protected content receive a certificate of appreciation from Pink Ribbon which is recognized in all over the world.
