Rejecting Internations Contact Requests? (Riyadh)

Hi all! I am super curious about something.

Since joining Internations (what a lovely group!) I have had several contact requests with the message "hi" or words to that effect. It seemed very logical to me to simply reject those and only accept the contacts who put forth some effort to explaining what we may have in common (provided that it's not "I want to date").

But now I am thinking...is this bad for networking? Should we just add everyone we can--the more the merrier?

What do YOU do with your contact requests? I guess this is especially geared towards women because it seems like the men around here are the ones doing the requesting LOL!
