relocating to Kingdom (Riyadh)

I am offered a job and will be relocating soon to Saudi Arabia for at least 2 years. Want to know are there any expat clubs or get togethers? what is the social scene like? Are there any Aussies there?

also - how is the internet there ? is there heavy censorship ? and what is the maximum speeds you get on connection (DSL? or dial up? or fibre optic or cable?)
