Send money to America ??? (Riyadh)

I just got back from Enjaz bank after being told that (although I have a remittance account) they can't send money to America.

I've been in Al Muzakhimia for the last four months and ran into the same problem there. I assumed it was due to being in a small town, so I am surprised to find the same problem in Riyadh.

Has anyone else discovered . . . and successfully resolved the problem of sending money to an American bank account?
