Seriously do not "Laugh" (Riyadh)

Now as i am settling down in Riyadh, i asked my driver two questions, by which he laughed and nearly crashed the car;

In South Africa, when i cut my hair, for the last 20 years - I go to a proper hair dresser (Salon) so i asked if there are any Salons or where i can cut my hair, treatments etc, and not a barber - so surely there must be a place or expats that have like a pvt salon....

2nd question - based on the African sun of being in Tourism back home and now, i will be in the sun for Tourism here, so i often go for facials etc etc - and again asked that there must be a spa of some sort where i can go for a facial - face treatments for etc etc.

Very common for active sun outside working males

So are there any such places - or do i just walk into a nice spa i saw - STRICTLY FOR FEMALES - and take my chances ?????

Or which compound has a spa for all ????
