Western Compounds near Olaya (Riyadh)

Hi all,

Originally from the UK, I've been offered a job in Riyadh and have a few questions about accommodation in the city.

I'm single, male and in my mid-20s.

I'm weighing up whether it would be best to rent a private apartment or get something within a compound?

Does anyone have any recommendations for compounds close (or commutable) to Olaya, preferably with Western expat residents? I'm looking for something comfortable, with a decent social scene.

Apologies if this has been asked a million times, but the majority of threads I've come across have been people with families
