concert of the ninth edition of the Rome Baroque Festival
at the Basilica of St. Maria in Montesanto in Rome (Piazza del Popolo):
a Carmelite Vespers rebuilt according to the Baroque splendor, with music by G. F. Handel, G. P. Colonna, A. Corelli, A. M. Bononcini and A. Scarlatti. To run the special program the Baroque Orchestra Musica Antiqua Latina, the Italian Chamber Choir, soloists Paul Lopez and Antonio Giovannini (singing), Antonello Dorrigo (high), Riccardo Pisani (tenor) and Alessio Cacciamani (bass). the Director in the master Giordano Antonelli.
The musical reconstruction, the result of an important philological work, will be the subject of a major record engraving, produced in Rome in the days before the concert.
