i'm beginning to wonder if it impossible to move over to Rome and work as a lawyer. I've been doing as much research as possible, on this site, other expat sites, linkedin and even if I could speak Italian proficiently, I don't think a non-Italian lawyer can practice, specifically in Rome. Although ideally I was trying to find a job in a MNC or the FAO- I just can't see how.
Think the dream of being an expat in Rome is going to have to come to an end soon! Before I throw the towel completely in, are there any areas of work that non-Italians would be suitable for, if not preferable? I would consider a complete career change for Rome! Or perhaps anywhere in Italy. If anyone could give a bit of direction, I would really appreciate it.
