July, Rome events calendar

Hi dear all,
I and my husband are going to Rome and Venice for summer vacation.
Please share an information about events in Rome in July, Protected content . May be some seasonal festivals or national/historical shows. It will be our first visit to Italy and of course we intent to be involved)).
I bought tickets to Teatro dell`Opera already as I believe Italy is a mother of opera))).
I know Depeche Mode and Deep Purple are coming too but I prefer something more special.
Also I appreciate your recommendation about Italian (non touristic) place to eat - reasonable price and remarkable cuisine.
It would be nice if you send me popular what-to-do links too (English/Italian).
