La Marche (Rome)

Greetings, all. My wife and I are planning to retire in Italy in a few years, and would appreciate any feedback from expat retirees. Any experience you can share with us - the good, the bad and the ugly - would be most welcome!

One area we're considering is La Marche, which has been receiving favorable press in the US as an affordable retirement destination. We'll be vacationing there this coming June, and would love to connect with anyone who knows the region. We're looking for relocation information (immigration paperwork, real estate broker and so on), insights on communities, and recommendations for sightseeing, dining, etc.,
