Mindfulness skills training, Sunday 31st Jan (Rome)

Hello -- dropping in to post this news for anyone who's interested in learning mindfulness as a means of reducing stress/anxiety, or simply to cultivate being fully present with equanimity for whatever daily life brings.

The practice of mindfulness is a research-based method for negotiating challenges including anxiety and depression, workplace stress, relationship conflicts, personal losses, and life transitions.
Mindfulness develops compassionate awareness of mental and emotional patterns through techniques that focus and calm the mind, leading to greater equanimity and psychological flexibility.
In this experiential workshop, participants learn how to:

De-fuse unhelpful thoughts and feelings (worry, anxiety, resentment)
Respond to stressful events with calm alertness
Remain present rather than churning over the past or worrying about the future
Engage coherent breathing to improve physical and mental health
Quiet the inner critic and enhance self awareness
Practice mindfulness meditation

The next foundation workshop, held in Rome (near Piazza Euclide), is:
