Monthly Budget Help (Rome)

Hello all-

I was recently offered a teaching position in Rome. I am so excited about this opportunity, but would love your thoughts on these concerns:
1. I know the visa process is difficult. My potential employer is helping with this process. Should I be very concerned?
2. After rent, student loan payment, etc. I will have about 700euro a month for food, transportation, fun, and travel. How will I get on with that amount for spending money?
