This year, more than 60 important cultural and exhibition spaces of the city are open for the Night of Museums in Rome, 6 hours of a non-stop series of events, more than Protected content events and initiatives, including music, dance, cinema, theatre, readings.
Rome's Civic Museums, State-owned museums, historical museums of the Italian army, private spaces, municipal libraries, academies and foreign cultural institutions, schools and houses of culture will be open and free of charge from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am. You can visit for free the permanent and temporary exhibitions hosted in these museums, or attend concerts, performances and events.
