Visting Rome for second time in February

Ciao tutti
My name is Goldy and I live in Istanbul. I am visiting Italy next week, going to Venice, Verona, Firenze, the Tuscan area and Rome for 5 or 6 days probably.

Are there any good events in Rome the first week of February? I would be interested in attending. Also, i love to meet new people interested in art, music, opera and culture in general. I visited various galleries and museums and the Colosseum last time I was in Rome. I want to explore more things this time.

Also, last time I stayed in the Travestere area near the Pantheon. But I want a diff area now. Can anyone suggest a good district in Rome for accomodation and also good for walk the city easily?

Would be nice to make friends as I travel :) Hope to hear from you..
