Something liquorice-like; double book presentatio (Rotterdam)

Author publishes two books: in Dutch and in English.

Saturday the 12th of july, at 17.00h, Ferdy Karto will present his new books at The Hub. On this location on the Middellandstraat in Rotterdam the two different novels will be presented in an inspiring way. The books will then become available online and in a few bookshops.

It concerns a Dutch book with 13 short stories as well as an English novel. ‘De Eigenaardige Weelde van Leonor Pereira Almeida’ creates a contrast with the novel ‘Liquorice Man;’ a tale about an anti-eccentric who encounters a Flamenco dancer, against the background of everyday London.

The books are available from the 12th of july on online bookshops and through Protected content . The artwork was done by Dimitris Meletis and Elly Bouman.
Karto, a writer and a performer, is using the themes of play, culture and interaction in his work. Imagination and the display of Human in all his forms are a distinguishing mark.
