Brazilian woman needs some help (San Diego)

A Brazilian woman in her 20's is in a difficult marriage in a small town in Texas. She cannot leave easily because she has no resources and no community support. Her husband is a U.S. citizen who is controlling her. The woman speaks very little English. I am an immigration attorney in San Diego can can help with her immigration matters, but for the moment she needs to leave her home for a fresh start. She reached out to me. San Diego has a large Brazilian community so are there some steps she might take here? She is work authorized, trying to learn English quickly, and wants to work and be independent. Perhaps a women's shelter that has Brazilian language support? Thanks, Allan
