Families in Berkeley? (San Francisco)

Hello! My husband, Shane Protected content , daughter, Charlotte (2.5), son, Ben (4 mths) and I Protected content relocating from the UK to North Berkeley at the end of April. We are keen to meet and make friends with other families in the area. We'd also love to find out about great places / days out in the East Bay for toddlers and babies (ie things for our 2 year old to do and has baby change facilities close by etc). Any recommendations gratefully received.
