Hello from a Serial Expat's Trailing Spouse (San Francisco)

Hello all, Although I am originally from the US, I haven't lived there in a couple decades and I am a little stressed about "coming back" to someplace I don't know. I am just under 50 and would like to form a "tribe" of other women who can hang out during the day for coffee or drinks who might also feel like strangers in a strange land. We begin our house hunting etc in the coming weeks but we expect to be at your end of the Earth permanently by July-ish.
