We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join our growing marketing team for three months. The target start date is January 15th. There is potential that this will lead to a full-time Marketing Associate position after internship is completed based on performance and company fit. As the Marketing Intern, you will play an instrumental role within the marketing team. You will help shape our external brand voice through the media, social networks and relevant channels. We are looking for an awesome, stand-out person to join us in this new role.
Work with our Marketing and PR Lead to support organizing Kiip's events calendar, applying for conferences and awards, and building reporter relationships
Create content and engage on social media platforms (i.e: Tweet our latest announcements and industry news, update Facebook, help launch Instagram in January Protected content
Communicate directly with clients to produce and/or edit press releases
Create engaging blog content and contact industry leaders for potential guest posts for higher traffic
Work with our Sales Dev & Marketing Director to support our clients' event sponsorships, including asset creation, signage orders and logistics
Review performance data for valuable insights and takeaways
The ideal candidate will have done a similar job/internship or hold relative experience already
Bachelors (or currently enrolled in your final year) in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations or a similar field
Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
Have an eye for design to create/choose sharable images, infographics, and content
Familiar with social media platforms
Experience with Wordpress and Google Docs/Sheets
Not intimidated by cold calling, emailing, or sending messages via LinkedIn
Interested in mobile marketing and the future of advertisement
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and considers themselves a creative thinker.
Candidates must have permission to work in the US. Many of our staff are on visas so this is not a problem - we just need to know what kind of visa/permission you have. You must also be eligible for a passport in case any overseas travel is needed. We are a very inclusive company and don't care who you love or how, as long as it's legal.
