Living in Sanaa

Hello everybody,

My name is Ana Maria and there is a strong possibility to relocate to Sanaa for 6 months beginning with February next year. I have followed the news lately and despite it being discouraging towards those who might want to work there I would like to get some impressions on the current security situation for expats living in Sanaa.

It would also be very helpful if you could practical advice on living expenses, areas where to look for acommodation in Sanaa and any culturally-sensitive tips that might be useful for someone who has not travelled to the Arab Penisnula before, nor speaks Arabic.
