Security and housing situation Yemen (Sanaa)

My company is considering taking on a consulting contract in Yemen for about 7 months starting in August. Can anyone advise us on the current security situation for expats? Is it safe for foreigners to travel and work outside of Sanaa? We will also be looking for short term housing for about four people, not necessarily all together. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
