Changing job on a subject to contract Irish visa? (Santiago de Chile)

Hi all!,

Can anyone tell me what the procedure is for changing jobs on a subject to contract visa? I am an Irish citizen, do I have to follow the whole process again and pay the full amount?!
Does anybody know about the alternatives to subject to contract? I wanted to apply for temporary residency before but it seemed like a long complicated process of getting my degree legalized by a solicitor, the foreign office and the chilean embassy in the uk before even applying here? Does anyone have any experience about this?
