Chile in July- Hotels/ Hostels?? (Santiago de Chile)

Hola!

I've signed up to take Spanish classes at a language center located on Providencia, Los Leones 439, Metropolitan Region Protected content , Santiago. I opted to stay at a hotel/ hostel and not a host family or shared apartment. However, I haven't had much luck finding a single/ private room with a private bathroom to rent for a 5-week period.

I'm looking for accommodation which is of walking distance from the center (address is shared above). Also, it is important that the hotel/ hostel offers fine customer service/ support, must be clean, safe...affordable, too.

I'd appreciate any advice...please help.
