I'm a chef from the States currently living in STGO... Have been working from a home office as a food writer for about 4 years and am really dying to get my hands dirty in a true food project again.
Having seen the ridiculous wave of food truck popularity in the US, I can't help but think that Chile and Chileans would love this concept!
I've been kicking around the idea... checking out the patente situation in a few different communas.
Any thoughts on the idea? Tell me what kind of food truck you think would be successful and maybe an area you think could benefit from such a service. Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions/mean criticisms/insults/curses/complements are welcome!
