Interested in a Carshare program (e.g.Zipcar) (Santiago de Chile)

I am on a very international founding team (2 Americans, 1 Venezuelan and 1 Austrian). We are developing a carshare service for Santiago using hybrids and electric vehicles.

If you are not familiar with how carsharing works, our company, Mobi, will be acquiring new eco-friendly vehicles and parking them in designated spots in the Santiago area. We are currently looking at Santiago Centro, Penalolen, Vitacura, Las Condes and La Florida as locations for the vehicles.

As a member you only pay an annual (or monthly) fee plus a fee for use (hourly or daily). You don't pay for gas, insurance, televia even parking at our designated stations.

Carsharing is very successful around the globe but hasn't arrived yet to South America.
