InterNations Volunteer Group, Santiago (Santiago de Chile)

Dear members,

In just a few months, due to the commitment of our volunteer community and to the highly successful fundraising events (Ie. the Silent Auction, the generous donation from an English Theatre Group led by Zenan Delaney, and donations from our members), we have successfully managed to create effective and sustainable support for Casa Esperanza and the fine work it does to help women get back on their feet after having suffered unfortunate experiences in their lives.

We are very grateful to all the members of the Volunteer Group for their tireless commitments which have allowed us to achieve a high level of results.

Building on that excellent experience and in response to increasingly more members who are interested in volunteering their time, we are now in a position to expand our support to other Organizations or communities in need.

We are reaching out to you to help us to identify Organizations or communities in need of support. Such Organizations may include but are not limited to: support for animals in distress, soup kitchens for the marginalized, youth in crisis as a result of drug or alcohol abuse, domestic violence, gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender issues etc,, students requiring special support or equipment to function better in school.

Should you have the contact information for any such Organization or Community, we invite you to share it with the Volunteer Group Consuls: Shannon, Elizabeth or Tom

All applicants will be invited to complete a detailed form proving need and are required to provide follow-up evidence that the services provided or the money used resulted in measurable and concrete results.

We look forward to hearing from you and to reporting out on the successes of our collective hard work to make a difference in the lives of people in Chile.
