Moving money in Chile. (Santiago de Chile)

I have another question prior to my arrival in Chile...I have tried to do as much research as possible to prevent trivial questions, but this one has me a little worried and perplexed. According to my research it appears that I am not going to be able to open a bank account in Chile, it also appears that I am not going to be able to remove much more than $300USD from an ATM machine per day. So how do you other expats without accounts in Chilean banks remove large amounts of cash for payments like rent or vehicle purchases?? Go to the atm everyday for a month and just sit on that cash? There has got to be a better way. Any info is greatly appreciated.
